Yakisoba!

Hello guys, today is the official last day of semester!! YAY!!

So today, when we were thinking of what to cook for dinner, i thought of the dried soba noodles and fish suddenly recalled that we had yakisoba sauce. SO…. we decided on yakisoba noodles!

It is really quite simple. You can add anything into the dish – add anything in your fridge that you have to use up.

Ingredients added:

Mushrooms
Onions
Roast Chicken
Fried Bacon
Garlic
Carrots

This is really simple. Just fry the ingredients, then add the noodles and load on the yakisoba sauce and a little salt. Taste and i think you might really like it. =)

I decided to try an omelette yakisoba which wasn’t totally successful, but it still looked really good.

I added Japanese mayo with a little more yakisoba sauce, seaweed and bonito flakes.

Looks good eh?

Fish create this concoction of tomatoes, smoked ham, chorizo, onions and carrots with a chilli oil that we got from Portugali – our favourite Portuguese chicken place. It tasted beautiful! and we kept it. We’ve decided to use it the next time we cook pasta.

This, with a can of crushed tomatoes, shall become our pasta sauce. Just a note though, this is really salty because of the chorizo and smoked ham, so we won’t be adding any additional salt to the cooking water of the pasta and the can of crushed tomatoes.

We had a great dinner! and i hope you had a great one too!
